Kathryn's Perfect Day

If you’re like me and have an obsession with all things natural and beautiful you are going to LOVE this!
I was warmly welcomed when I arrived at Kathryn’s lodge on the morning of her wedding. We were in amongst the countryside getting ready before they were to head off to the picturesque Knockraich farm to be married.
Everyone was busy getting organised and Heather who was doing the make-up had already started. I had a trial with Kathryn very close to her wedding day so her style was fresh in my head. I already knew I would love everything about this affair before I saw it all come together when Kathryn explained her vision at the trial.
It was all about natural beauty, effortless pretty and relaxed, much like the bride herself.
After many years of styling wedding hair, I have aimed to create and encourage styles which allow the bride and all of her wedding party to feel comfortable and confident but with the most emphasis being on the styles looking natural and effortless.
Anyway, back to the bride. I got started on Kathryn’s lovely bridesmaids, they all opted for a similar relaxed, wavy style which complimented Kathryn’s choice which was a half up do.
There were pretty flowers supplied by the florists and Kathryn’s wonderful headpiece was the perfect accessory to complete her look. The rest of the party were styled and everyone was so friendly and happy to go with any suggestions I made.
I have been looking forward to seeing these images for some time and they are even more beautiful than I could imagine.
Everything about this occasion exudes charm and grace. It’s hard to believe that this it had been mostly organised without the bride and groom actually meeting any of the amazing suppliers.
